The situation
A handful of established SMB practices — accountants, mortgage brokers, property advisers — were operating with websites that looked like they had been built a decade ago. Customers were finding them via referral, but rarely finding them via search. Where they did appear in search results, the experience that followed did not match the quality of the practice itself.
What we did
We rebuilt each site as a small, fast, accessible Next.js application — designed for the actual content these practices need to communicate, not a generic template. SEO foundations (technical SEO, schema markup, sitemap) were treated as part of the build, not a follow-up add-on. Google Business Profile and Reviews were configured as part of the same engagement, so the local search picture became coherent.
Why this matters
For a regulated SMB practice, the website is not just a brochure — it is a trust signal. Slow, broken, or stale sites cost engagements in ways that never show up in analytics. We treat L1 work as the foundation that everything else compounds onto.
